Mankind began 6 thousand years ago, so did all the animals.
OK, do you believe that?? He did mention we won't go back to the millions
of years he created this earth only six thousand years ago when all living things
were created. Sorry I could not go any further..

startingover: you are right . I remember when I became a JW no one could tell
me anything, I knew it all. I have the answer for every question for life here and
the hereafter, LOL. But I have learned to hold my tongue not to preach my belief,
only when it is necessary. What's my belief, hell I don't know but I know the bible

God gave us free will and thus allowing us to face the consequences
of our choices solves nothing. If the creator could intervene personally
when it came to the magic tricks in the Bible like making the sun stand
still for a day in a BATTLE, he could do something to feed a starving
kid.

Speaking for myself I wasn't a born in, raised a JW. My grandfather
was a baptist minister my mom and dad faithful to their death.
After leaving the borg I went back , Baptist. At that time I search the
bible for that elusive JC and GOD. We won't talk about the Old testaments
because those books are scary. The NT I studied it, and I mean researched.
You no what he is still as elusive.

Think about this for a minute, in the JW paradise when the male is
500 years old and the wife is 470 it's not a big deal. Hell, he could be
age 500 and the wife 400 it won't seem so odd.

There may be some here that is still under the control of
the elders, maybe having you shaking in your shoes.
Not all elders are control freaks, power hungry but those elders that
get off on exerting their power (A-holes), tell him you are a A-hole.
You might help in making him more of a refine elder. It doesn't hurt and at
least you won't be DF, right flipper. LOL
